The City is responsible for maintaining the Morse home and other Park buildings, as well as the Park grounds. It also sets policies that govern use of the Park. The WMHPC does not handle Park rentals.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wayne Morse Family Farm Park is open daily for picnicking (except during reserved events), enjoying nature or using the fenced dog park. Tours of the historic home are available by prior arrangement through the Park office. Rentals of the Morse home and the picnic shelter are administered through the City of Eugene\u2019s Parks and Recreation Department. Incorporated in 1975.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1975 \u2013 Legislation adopted in State Legislature and US Congress that provided assistance with Park funding<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1976 \u2013 Title of Edgewood Farm transferred to the City of Eugene to maintain as part of the city park system<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1979 \u2013 Dedication of Wayne Morse Park<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1982 \u2013 Picnic pavilion built, with design input from Wallace Hayden.
